Nibelungo Box Cover Art

Most of my first drawings were dinos and dragons. And they kept being the majority of the drawings on my school and college notebooks.

But I never truly finished a dragon painting (or dino, but soon) - only sketches - much less was hired to do that. So this illustration for Nibelungo Box (catarse.me/nibelungo.box ) is simply historical in my career.

And it's accidentally a tribute to my first attempt to paint a Dragon (technically a Wyvern) in 2007 since they look a bit alike.

There's something poetic about it being unfinished - just like years later I paused my efforts towards working with art. And only now that my career is flowing nicely is that I finally got to finish a dragon.
