Parakwath, Gardener of Souls

Made for a contest. The prompt was "Demon + Gardener". Here's what I've came up with:

"Parakwath tortures the souls of those who've used plants to do evil: poisoning or addicting others and misusing or destroying sacred plants.

He used to be a minor demon until the rise of the pharmaceuticals industry and agrochemicals. Because it also gave rise to bad pharmaceuticals and bad agrochemicals, poisoning millions of beings every day.

Parakwath's torture consists in cultivating a garden of poisoned souls so they can look pretty and also to ensure that they feel the poison for all eternity."

I named it Parakwath after the very agressive "Paraquat" pesticide, banned in several countries.
