I'm working on a remake and expansion of the series of illustrations I created in 2017!

Yes, I've changed her skin color. I was sad to realize that when I first created this series the thought of making it more diverse didn't even occur to me. I was just trying my best to mimic old pin-up artists. Only recently did I notice that they only painted white women, period. With extremely rare exceptions. This shows how easily a lack of representation can create vicious cycles.

One of my goals with this series and its soon to be announced expansion is to bring new stuff to the "retro pin-up girl" aesthetics and diversity is on the list. In body types as well, soon.
